From 22 to 26 March 2021, the leading trade fair ISH was held in digital format for the first time. From the very beginning, the event focused on networking, knowledge exchange, high-calibre content, an extensive accompanying programme and the latest solutions and product innovations from exhibitors. A total of 290 hours of content were broadcast during the live event.
The Federation of German Heating Industry (BDH) organised the Technology and Energy Panel together with Messe Frankfurt for the ninth time, this year as a digital format as well.
The patron was Andreas Feicht, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Together with Main Partner Zukunft Gas, Gold Partner, the Institut für Wärme und Mobilität (IWO), as well as the twelve partner associations, the Panel demonstrated solution strategies for achieving the ambitious climate targets in the building sector.
These goals result primarily from the EU Green Deal, which was adopted at the end of 2019 under Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The aim of the Green Deal is to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. By 2030, CO2 emissions are to be reduced by 55 % compared to 1990 levels.
